I truly enjoyed my stay at Axtons Bass City Resort. The staff were polite and responsive, making my experience pleasant. The motel room was clean, and I especially appreciated the beautiful lake view available, perfect for having my morning coffee while enjoying nature.

Beds could use improvement.

The location was convenient for our fishing trip, yet the

rooms were definitely in need of improvement. The decor was outdated, and the beds were uncomfortable. On a brighter note, the air conditioning was effective, which made the stay a bit more tolerable, especially during the hot afternoons.

The location was super close to the lake, perfect for sunset views! Clean enough for a family stay. The air conditioning kept us chill during the hot temps. Just be ready for some sketchy neighbors.

We took the kids to the Southwest Dairy Center, and it was a blast! The little ones loved seeing the goats up close. After some fishing, we enjoyed relaxing indoors where the AC worked well, making our stay comfortable.

My wife says that the room needed a good scrub.

The property had a beautiful lake view and some seating for relaxing while watching the sunset. It was pretty clean, which I appreciated. However, the water had a strong smell and was very hard. definitely bring bottled water if you can. The beds were uncomfortable and moved around a lot, creating noise issues. There were some updates like fresh paint and new counters, but the uncomfortable beds can't be overlooked. The kitchen was sparsely stocked, so it’s a good idea to bring your own coffee. All in all, I'd consider returning, but only if certain improvements are made to the accommodations.
